For this shoot I went back to one of my favorite spots. During the fall season it’s a great pumpkin patch but during Christmas time it’s a Christmas tree farm. Lots of farm animals and some great photo ops to make memories. (Like the memories of Olivia saying hello to the horse, cow and chickens…….or the memories of Olivia calling a spotted horse a cow 😂).
Walking around with Olivia had me thinking of how many years of amazing memories I’ve yet to experience with her. She’s only 2 1/2 and sometimes it feels like I’ve known her a lifetime. But then I realize how much more we’ve even yet to experience, especially during the holidays.
Some things I’m looking forward to as she gets older:
- Holiday decorating with her.
- Making Christmas cookies and leaving them out for Santa.
- Writing letters to Santa
- Making a Christmas list
- Seeing her face light up when she comes downstairs Christmas morning
- Singing holiday songs
- Seeing Christmas lights
- Drinking hot cocoa
- Christmas crafts
- Watching Olivia decorate
- Picking out presents for angel tree and charities
- Family Christmas photos
- Christmas pageants and shows
